Application Engineering Deputy Manager- Industrial Refrigeration

• Reviews customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements for industrial refrigeration systems, selecting the right components and providing pre-sales technical support to sales teams, customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Builds compelling, value-based propositions that position Danfoss solutions effectively, driving up-selling and cross-selling opportunities while owning customer relationships and retrofit pipelines with full accountability for closures and long-term growth.
• Leads and supports new product qualifications, start-ups, and ramp-ups, accelerating adoption through hands-on customer engagement and coordinating with internal teams across sales, product management, and operations for timely proposal submissions.
• Delivers training and technical guidance to internal and external sales teams, end users, contractors, and consultants, while supporting troubleshooting, application guidance, and the development of Authorised Service Partners across the region.
• Monitors market trends and application opportunities across sectors such as Fisheries, Dairies, Cold Storage, Food Processing, and Meat, collaborating closely with factories, quality teams, and internal experts to drive continuous improvement and informed business decisions.

• Brings 5-8 years of hands-on experience in industrial refrigeration applications, system engineering, or technical sales support, with a track record of growing through complex, real-world challenges.
• Carries strong working knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems including Ammonia and CO₂, with a genuine drive to stay ahead as technologies and applications continue to evolve.
• Understands refrigeration components and system operation in depth, and continuously builds on that foundation to deliver more accurate and effective application support.
• Confident reading P&IDs, technical drawings, and specifications, and committed to sharpening both analytical thinking and technical communication as project complexity grows.
• Holds a B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, bringing structured technical knowledge and an openness to learning that grows with every customer engagement.
