Job Title: Sr. AI/ML EngineerLocation: Bengaluru, IndiaAbout Organisation:We are a fast-paced Agritech startup working on IoT, machine learning-based risk mitigation solutions for agriculture. Using real-time farm data coming from IoT device, we help farmers take on-farm decisions in irrigation, sprays for disease, pests and fertigation.We are focused on horticulture crops and working on increasing production quality and quantity at a lower cost of cultivation.About the Role:We are seeking highly skilled and motivated AI/ML engineers to join our engineering . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and backend AI systems. You will be responsible for transforming complex agricultural data into actionable insights, leading innovative projects, and driving data-driven success within our organization.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML and backend AI systems at scale
Build and maintain clean, efficient AI service architecture using Python and FastAPI
Develop and optimize Large Language Model (LLM) based applications and pipelines using LangChain or equivalent frameworks
Build and fine-tune computer vision models using YOLO, PyTorch, or related deep learning frameworks
Work on geospatial data processing and analysis using tools such as Rasterio and Google Earth Engine (GEE)
Develop multilingual AI assistant capabilities to serve diverse user bases including regional language speakers
Build and improve weather forecasting models and data pipelines
Implement image analysis solutions for real-world agricultural and environmental use cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and engineering to deliver end-to-end AI solutions
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI systems in production environments
Contribute to research, experimentation, and continuous improvement of AI models and pipelines
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best engineering practices

Requirements

4+ years of experience in production ML or backend AI systems
Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI and clean service design
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: LLMs/LangChain, YOLO/PyTorch, or geospatial tools (Rasterio, GEE)
Experience working in fast-paced, problem-solving environments with real-world AI deployment challenges
