This position is responsible to provide technical assistance to our employees at Ahmedabad HIES-India Facility resources.IT Support Engineer is responsible for setting up computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners. Providing technical assistance to users, either in person or remotely, to resolve issues. Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems. Provide support in resolution of local networking issues and co-ordinate with global team for setting up the NT and email accounts etc.,Duties and responsibilities:

Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.
Setting up accounts for new users and managing existing accounts
Ensuring the security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Maintaining records of software licenses and managing stocks of equipment and supplies
Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.
Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems.
Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions.
Conduct remote troubleshooting.
Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue.
Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
Record technical issues and solutions in logs.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional.
Report user feedback and potential product requests
Help create technical documentation and manuals.
Work cooperatively with technical or application personnel across IT globally to accomplish enterprise-wide goals.
Develop expertise to work with business vendors to resolve day-to-day problems or make process changes.
Learn and keep up to date with technology trends in the industry.
