We are looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE to closely work with our infrastructure team and support our growth for this next phase of growth at Avoma.Some of the areas that you will be working on:Leads initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics to improve SLOsDemonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains and proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecksIntolerance to repeated manual work, you will drive toil reduction through automation and scripting.Ensure that we are able to scale existing API's and services seamlessly with new growthWork on HA architecture to support servicesWork on deployment of new servicesWork on developing and maintaining our CI/CD infrastructureRequirements4+ years of work experience as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer or similar software engineering roleHands-on Experience managing production workloads in AWSStrong Unix and scripting experience, demonstrating the ability to automate tasks and streamline processes using Python. Django experience is good to have.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef etc.) is must.Proficiency and experience in observability such monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus etc.Problem-solving attitude with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldAny AWS certifications are an added plus.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain large-scale cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements, and ensure timely delivery of projectsDevelop and maintain complex bash scripts and Python utilities to automate system administration tasksLead initiatives to improve the efficiency and scalability of our systems, including optimizing infrastructure and automating processesEnsure the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and troubleshooting systems and resolving technical issuesDevelop and implement cloud security policies and procedures to protect our systems and dataStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps engineering, and make recommendations for innovation and improvementProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to the development of team members through knowledge sharing and code reviewsBenefitsWhat you get from Avoma (Benefits)A transparent salary structureSalary Range: ₹2,700,000- ₹3,400,000 Depending on Experience.15 days of PTO annually on top of company holiday.Employee Stock Options Program
