Job Title: Data ArchitectLocation: Onshore/OffshoreEmployment Type: Full TimeJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience with deep expertise in Snowflake and Qlik to oversee and optimize our data environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring data architecture integrity, governance, and accessibility, while also enabling business teams with dashboards and insights.Roles & Responsibilities:· Architect and implement data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and integrating structured/unstructured data.· Lead the design, optimization, and management of the Snowflake environment, including table structures, schemas, and performance tuning.· Define and enforce data governance policies, including access controls, data quality, and security (e.g., restricting sensitive data such as location data).· Oversee dashboard creation and migration to Qlik, ensuring usability, scalability, and performance.· Drive data integrity across systems and processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency for business reporting and analytics.· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data architecture with business needs.· Partner with business users to design data solutions tailored to user-level needs and decision-making.· Leverage AWS cloud services to support data engineering, storage, and pipeline orchestration.· Provide hands-on technical expertise while also guiding the long-term data architecture strategy.Required Qualifications:· 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and analytics.· Proven expertise in Snowflake (architecture, optimization, security, data modeling).· Strong experience with Qlik (dashboarding, data integration, migration).· Hands-on experience in data engineering (SQL, ETL/ELT, performance tuning).· Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and related data services.· Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.· Ability to work with stakeholders across technical and business teams, translating requirements into scalable data solutions.· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with IoT data ingestion and management.· Exposure to modern data pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Glue, or similar).· Knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data processing frameworks.· Relevant certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or Qlik are a strong plus.Education:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (required).
