Job Purpose To define the quality base line of the products and how they should function, conducts quality analysis to verify the functionality of the products for end users and to ensure they are developed to meet requirements planned in the stories. Key Result Responsibilities Employs technical and analytical skills to conduct quality testing and checks on the products design in line with agreed objectives. Verifies the products from quality perspective to ensure they are all designed, developed and delivered in accordance to the agreed concepts,design and requirements recommended in the stories. Uses available resources and tools to execute gap analysis and identify gaps or deficiencies in the products and provide recommendations on solutions. Collaborates with the products team to carry the functional analysis for all the products designed to ensure they are useful and useable by end users. Develops a variety of testing scenarios to ensure credibility of testing and analysis conducted and recommends solutions as applicable. Concludes the testing results and releases them using the JIRA tool to be accessible by team members as needed. Key Result Responsibilities-Continued Supports the development team in the sprint planning by providing them with results of the testing scenarios to consider in their final artwork or in alternative solutions. Adopts the Agile and SCRUM concepts within work and ensures all the activities carried are done based on those concepts to ensure flexibility and adaptability to business needs. Presents and defends quality check results and gap analysis results to stakeholders and line managers to ensure awareness of any gaps. Stays abreast with market trends and new technologies in the domain, researches and conducts comparative analysis with competitors to recommend best practices and new methodologies. Collaborates with teams in significant technical discussions and open debates to source for best solutions and practices, improve workflow and continuously develop the design systems in place. Performs any other additional duties as directed by the line manager. Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages) Bachelors degree in Technical Engineering,Computer Science,Math or equivalent. Certified SCRUM Master or Professional Certified Product Owner is a plus. Quality Assurance certificates are advantage. Solid technical background with understanding in software development. Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA. Fluent in English Language. Work Experience 4 or more Years experience as Quality Analyst or in a similar role in B2B,B2C enterprise environment that designs,develops Airlines products or IT Airline services such as Ground Handling,PSS,Crew Management or in an IT Solutions company offering airline products Demonstrates understanding of UI,UX design, experience in a similar role is an advantage. A habit of keeping up with the latest technology trends in UI design and web application UX. High sensitivity to emotive and human driven design principles. Very good understanding of commercial market trends and transforming them to design concepts. Has worked with technology platforms that are both internally and externally hosted. Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information. Exceptional skills and expertise in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls, and recommending solutions. Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision making Good people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross functional teams and third parties Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects at a time. Detail oriented, has a sharp and artistic eye that recognizes fine art. Familiar with Agile Development and SCRUM Methodologies. Employs technical expertise and interpersonal skills to execute new initiatives and achieve companys objectives. Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
