Senior Engineer

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for transmission components using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, or Creo).
• Design mechanical parts including gears, shafts, plastic components, brackets, and cooling systems in line with functional and manufacturing requirements.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as per ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Conduct and interpret tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure fit, form, and function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality) to ensure design validation and DVP closure.
• Work closely with the CAE team to integrate analysis feedback into design updates.
• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change records.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk assessments.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CAD design for automotive components.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CAD design for automotive components.
• Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using CAD software (NX , Creo or similar).
• Exposure to PLM tools like Teamcenter
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and design for assembly.
• Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis and mechanical drawing interpretation.
• Understanding of Design Validation Plans (DVP) and closure processes.
• Familiarity with CAE processes and working with simulation feedback.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
