- Serve as the lead functional expert for Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and Scheduling configuration.
- Design, configure, and enhance Workday functionality to meet evolving business requirements.
- Ensure system configuration aligns with operational, payroll, and compliance needs.
- Develop system functionality, resolve configuration and system issues, and deliver solutions to complex business challenges.
- Provide advanced functional and technical support, partnering with HRBPs, functional stakeholders, and IT to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Support Payroll operations in close partnership with Payroll leadership.
- Act as a business analyst and liaison to key stakeholders.
- Proactively gather business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications and configuration solutions.
- Strategically align HR technology solutions with business needs at global, regional, and local levels.
- Analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy, leveraging a data-driven mindset.
- Create and maintain basic reports and analytics to support HR and business stakeholders.
- Communicate insights effectively, telling the story behind the data to support decision-making.
- Anticipate future business needs and recommend technology-driven solutions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to support broader business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience across HR, IT, or Information Systems.
- 3–5 years of hands-on Workday experience supporting Time Tracking configuration.
- 1–3 years of experience participating in project teams.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments with a “People First” mindset.
- 3+ years of Workday experience supporting Absence and Payroll.
- Experience supporting HR systems within a manufacturing-based organization.
- Deep understanding of how current and emerging technologies can support business partners.
- Strong ability to connect and balance the needs of multiple functional areas.
- In-depth knowledge of IT and functional strategies and how they integrate within HR systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies as business needs evolve.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to anticipate and design technology solutions for current and future business needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
