- Analyse business requirements and support/create design for requirements
- Build and deploy new or updated data mappings, sessions, and workflows in the Azure Cloud Platform, with a key focus on Azure Databricks
- Develop performant and scalable code
- Perform ETL routines including performance tuning, troubleshooting, support, and capacity estimation
- Conduct thorough testing of ETL code changes to ensure quality deliverables
- Provide day-to-day support and mentoring to end users interacting with the data
- Profile and understand large volumes of source data, including structured and semi-structured/web activity data
- Analyse defects and provide timely fixes
- Provide release notes for deployments
- Support release activities
- Demonstrate a problem-solving attitude
- Continuously develop technical skills, especially within the Azure platform
- Experienced in ETL tools and data projects
- Recent Azure experience with strong knowledge of Azure Databricks (Python/SQL)
- Good knowledge of SQL and Python
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Logic Apps (highly desirable)
- Experience with Python programming (highly desirable)
- Experience with Azure Functions (a plus)
- Responsible for day-to-day decisions related to coding and unit testing
