This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 10 yearsLocation: Mumbai
JobType :full-timeTo meet the highest standards of data protection and trust demanded by our clients, we are seeking a Head of IT / IT Director to enhance our security framework encompassing people, processes, and technology.Current Situation Overview:Data Fragmentation: SI operates across Zoho ERP, Zoho CRM, Jira, and various specialized tools without any integration between them. Cross-functional reporting is manual and slow, relying on compiled spreadsheets rather than real-time data for leadership decisions.Uneven AI Adoption: Some departments are leading the way—creating dashboards, automations, and AI-driven workflows independently—while others have yet to begin. There is no unified framework, standard tooling, or clear visibility into what is being developed across functions.Lack of Centralized Ownership: Responsibility for information systems is dispersed among different functions. Although the CEO's office coordinates informally, this approach is unsustainable as AI and data initiatives expand.Risk of Fragmented AI Development: Without a centralized owner, SI risks accumulating isolated AI tools and software developed independently across functions. This will lead to overlapping solutions, inconsistent data quality, lack of shared learning, and a complex technological environment that becomes costly and difficult to manage.RequirementsAs the Head of IT / IT Director at SI, you will be responsible for the following broad mandates:Data Infrastructure & Integration
  • Streamline and integrate Zoho ERP, Zoho CRM, Jira, and other platforms into a cohesive data architecture.
  • Establish and enforce data standards, ownership, and governance across all departments.
AI Strategy & Implementation
  • Develop a company-wide AI roadmap, prioritizing use cases based on business impact.
  • Bridge the gap between AI-advanced and lagging functions by creating common frameworks and tooling standards.
Business Intelligence Enablement
  • Create and maintain real-time dashboards and analytics to support leadership and functional decision-making.
  • Transition SI from reactive reporting to proactive, AI-assisted insights.
