Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Prepare quarterly consolidated domestic tax provision memos and supporting documentation.Generate quarterly tax flux analysis, forecasts, and non-GAAP tax adjustmentsPrepare workpapers and payment requests for estimated and extension payments (federal, state income, franchise, CAT taxes)Review state income and franchise tax returns and related workpapersCoordinate data collection for the federal consolidated return and state filingsConduct federal and state tax research and provide technical analysisAssist in quarterly consolidated tax provision reporting and analysisPrepare the annual ACA Memo and liaise with Legal and HR for ACA complianceCoordinate Section 382 study with external consultantsRespond to federal and state tax notices, including audit support and resolutionAssist with R&D credit computations and survey responsesPartner with cross-functional teams on tax compliance and provision topicsQualifications:Minimum 4 years of relevant US direct tax experience, preferably in Big 4 or corporate tax environments2 years in a people manager role.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationCPA designation preferred but not mandatoryStrong technical knowledge in U.S. federal and state taxation, including ASC 740, FIN48, ASC 718, FIN18, Section 162(m), Section 382, and book-to-tax adjustmentsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems, SAGE depreciation, and Blackline is a plusDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlinesStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter who thrives in both team settings and with independent responsibilitiesEagerness to grow tax knowledge and align business objectives with tax strategiesWhy do we exist?Students are working harder than ever before to stabilize their future.
