- Perform precision assembly operations requiring high manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies for hydraulic motors, coolant pumps, and trochoid pumps as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Operate basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures effectively.
- Support fitters and senior assemblers in achieving daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct basic inspection activities as part of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, or non-conformities during assembly and testing stages.
- Assist in product testing, troubleshooting, and development-related tasks when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including checklists and inspection reports.
- Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace discipline.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Strong understanding of fundamental Mechanical Engineering concepts.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform fine, repetitive assembly tasks with precision.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, seals, and fasteners.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement techniques is an advantage.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in assembly or manufacturing will have an added advantage.
