Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Manager at the office located in Hyderabad. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design process, managing a team of designers, developing design concepts, and ensuring that designs meet client requirements. The Design Manager will also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and support to the interior design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects, from initial concept development to final installation. Design Direction: Define and maintain the overall design direction and aesthetic for each project, ensuring alignment with client preferences, project requirements, and brand standards. Client Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals. Resource Management: Allocate resources, including staff, materials, and equipment, efficiently to optimize team productivity and project outcomes. Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the design process, conducting regular reviews and inspections to ensure designs meet client expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenses, monitoring costs, and identifying opportunities to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional value to clients. Qualifications B. Arch., Degree or diploma in Design, Interior Design, is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar. Strong knowledge of modular furniture design principles and materials. Experience in managing and leading a team of designers. Excellent communication (Telugu, Hindi and English is a must) and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience in the modular furniture or interior design industry is a plus.
