Our client is leading is prominent player in Indian Lubricant market. known for its strong growth, focus & innovation, having 36+ billon dollar turnover.Role: To lead growth for our EV fluid and EV battery verticals . This role will drive category creation, market penetration, and strategic alliances in one of the most high-impact segments of e-mobility. Individual will work closely with OEMs, fleet operators, battery makers, EV ecosystem players, and channel partners to scale our EV fluid and battery product lines across India.Key Must Haves : 1. EV Fluids & Battery Sales Expansion- Build and grow the sales pipeline for EV-specific thermal management fluids, coolants, gear oils, and other high-performance EV fluids- Drive B2B sales of EV batteries (Li-ion and advanced chemistries) via OEMs, fleet operators, and battery integrators- Deliver revenue targets and enhance. - Clients presence in emerging EV sub-categories- Category Creation & Market Development- Educate customers and partners about the critical role of EV fluids in battery longevity, safety, and vehicle efficiency- Identify early adopters, pilots, and use cases to build customer success stories- Position Client as a thought leader in next-gen lubricants and energy storage solutions. 2. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances- Build partnerships with EV OEMs, 2W/3W manufacturers, battery makers, and energy solution providers.- Explore joint go-to-market models with vehicle, charging, and component manufacturers3. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement- Act as the primary point of contact for OEMs, large fleets, and key accounts- Understand technical needs and work with internal teams to deliver customized product propositions4. Business & Commercial Planning- Prepare and present solution decks, pricing structures, and commercial proposals- Manage tenders, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements5. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure end-to-end execution- Provide inputs to product development based on field feedback and customer use-cases6. Market Intelligence & Insights- Track developments in EV battery chemistries, cooling systems, lubricant innovation, and competitive offerings- Monitor industry shifts (e.g., policy incentives, OEM launches, thermal regulation standards) and update business strategy accordingly. Skills : - Master's degree is preferred in business administration- 8 -12 years of relevant experience in automotive lubricants, battery sales, chemicals, EV components, or industrial fluids - Proven track record in B2B business development, OEM engagement, or consultative solution selling - Strong technical understanding of battery systems, thermal management, and EV powertrain components - Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments - Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to scale new categories from ground up - Willingness to travel and drive market coverage aggressively.
