Develop and implement strategies to expand the NGO’s network, reach, and funding sources. Identify potential sponsors, partners, and donors to support the NGO's mission.Leadership and Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management, staff coordination, and resource allocation. Ensure smooth running of the organization’s programs, campaigns, and initiatives.Event Management:
Plan, organize, and execute various events, workshops, and campaigns with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. Ensure events are aligned with the NGO's goals and deliver impactful outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure continuous support and collaboration for NGO initiatives.Monitoring and Reporting:
Track the success of programs, events, and business development efforts. Prepare and present regular reports on progress, outcomes, and future plans to the board or senior management.Fundraising and Outreach:
Organize fundraising events and outreach programs, ensuring a broad base of support for the NGO’s activities. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to raise awareness.Travel and Site Visits:
Travel to various schools, colleges, and partner organizations to manage relationships, assess the impact of programs, and promote the NGO's initiatives.Skills and Requirements:Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, event management, or leadership roles in the NGO sector. Experience with schools and colleges is highly desirable.Event Management Expertise:
Strong experience in organizing and managing large-scale events, conferences, and workshops, particularly in collaboration with educational institutions.Business Development Knowledge:
Proven ability to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential donors, partners, and sponsors, and secure funding or support.Excellent Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, present ideas, and negotiate effectively.Leadership and Team Management:
Ability to lead and motivate a team, work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, travel-based environment.Travel Flexibility:
Willingness to travel frequently to different schools, colleges, and partner locations as needed for project implementation and relationship-building.Passionate and Committed:
A deep passion for social causes and a commitment to the NGO’s mission of creating positive change.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the non-profit sector with a focus on education or youth development.
- Strong network within educational institutions or business development circles.
