- Review and quality-check contracts and legal documents drafted by junior team members, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate and finalise complex international agreements, including client, supplier, and airline contracts.
- Provide clear, business-focused legal advice on cross-jurisdictional commercial and regulatory matters.
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers, offering feedback on drafting, negotiation strategy, and risk management.
- Oversee legal processes and contract management systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies.
- Escalate material risks or sensitive issues and support business stakeholders in balancing legal and commercial objectives.
- Contribute to the development of legal playbooks, templates, and training to strengthen team capability.
- Qualified US lawyer (or former US practising lawyer) with experience in the US legal and regulatory system.
- Prior in-house experience essential
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in a cross-jurisdictional or international context
- Experience in providing high-level legal advice, overseeing legal processes, and mentoring junior lawyers.
