- To work with the projects teams to make contractual agreements that minimize the risk exposure of the business.
- Contracts/orders for execution of projects that are in line with company policies and minimize risk exposure.
- To provide commercial and contractual awareness within the organization and bring a risk management approach to projects.
- Ensuring that all commercial and contractual aspects of customer RFQs are understood and met. This involves carefully examining RFQs, offering exceptions where necessary, and providing insights for proposals.
- Coordinating legal support both internally within the organisation and externally as needed to ensure compliance and address any legal issues.
- Providing ongoing support to Project Management during project execution, addressing contractual inquiries, issues, and ensuring that the project aligns with the contract terms.
- Assisting various departments (Project Management, Operations, Finance, and Sales) in defining appropriate commercial contract terms, such as payment schedules, warranties, and pricing.
- Assisting in evaluating commercial risks associated with contracts and projects and suggesting improvements to mitigate these risks.
- Overseeing the claims process, including managing documentation, agreements, and communication effectively.
- Identifying and reporting any instances of nonconformance to contract specifications according to established procedures.
- Undertaking various administrative duties as assigned.
- Conducting various reporting activities as required to track progress and ensure transparency.
- Candidate with minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in commercial, contract with legal training background
- Hands-on experience in global contracts, Vendor management, negotiations.
- Strong in modern systems and techniques for contract management,
- Experience in dealing with global laws specifically with European / north American laws on contracts.
- Supporting the projects on Contract drafting, review, negotiation, and complete end to end contract management life cycle.
- Experience in risk mitigation and experience in developing & managing the process, streamlining the laws, setting up the contractual process, Implementing and brining value to the business.
- Candidates preferabbly from Oil & Gas, Supply chain management, energy or power sector or construction industries dealing with global clients only.
