We are a team on energetic people who believe in agility & inclusiveness, open & transparent communication across various levels of organization are our USP.We are a Lead Plant for two products, namely; VE Pump (Diesel Fuel Injection Pump) and Nozzle Holder Assembly (both are diesel intrinsic components).We take pride in mentioning that Bosch in India a Great Place to Work certified Company.Job DescriptionTechnical Capacity ManagementPlan, implement & continually develop a manufacturing value addition flow with resources e.g. space, MAE, testing, handling, etc., capable of consistently manufacturing, measuring, monitoring, validating and delivering products that meets all engineering, regulatory & requirements of the customer.Value stream PlanningMonitor internal & external requirements (e.g. BU, Plant, VS, BP, customer), true north and VS vision, collaborate with Cross Functional stake holders to identify, monitor & drive projects to lead Value stream towards a future state, progressively raise efficiency & achieve operational excellence.Control Of Production ProcessesEstablish, document & develop the release of processes (e.g. CpK study, PPAP, etc), controls to manage processes (e.g. control plans, work instructions, SPC, etc), methods to track & monitor customer requirements, reaction to non-conforming parts (e.g. reaction plan) to ensure defect free products.Budget Planning & Cost ManagementEstimate & propose budgets for the upcoming planning periods required to run operations, fulfil demands and execute development projects e.g., personnel, tooling, services, MAE, project costs, etc. Track & adapt expenditure over respective periods to adhere to budget and achieve economic success.Risk Analysis & Contingency PlanningIdentify & evaluate risks to sustaining intended results e.g. delivery to customer, assure zero defect products, product recalls, breakdown of single dependent machine, etc., plan, document, implement & test preventive and reactive measures to mitigate business & customer impact.Problem Solving & Corrective ActionsCompile & assess deviations to defined standards in manufacturing e.g. infrastructure, processes, quality complaints, FPY, defect cost, safety incident, etc. Identify root causes, ideate, plan & implement necessary measures to fix issues to limit impact to the customer and business results.MAE, Tooling & Consumable PlanningPrepare technical inquiry, scout market for suppliers of desired technology, float inquiry & receive techno-commercial offers, conduct technical discussions & narrow down potential vendors. Initiate internal process to place purchase requests to procure required items & manage regular availability.Coaching & Knowledge ManagementInitiate, organise & lead engagement initiatives to coach, motivate & support team in knowledge sharing, pool collective knowledge for problem-solving, understanding & adoption of new standards, methods & technology etc, to enhance people potential, encourage innovation & organisational development.Change Initiatives & ManagementEvaluate manufacturing setup for efficiency, technical constraints & ideas from associates, develop scenarios, plan (e.g. ECR process) & implement concepts (e.g. I4.0) & measures aimed at resolving issues, upgrading setup with benchmark concepts to improve efficiency & effectiveness of operations.Project ManagementAnalyse new business requirements (e.g. product relocation, product inquiry, innovation project, etc), evaluate business case, develop project charter and project management plan, coordinate, drive and implement project plan in collaboration with cross functional teams to enable business growth.Management ReportingCompile, organise and represent manufacturing performance data and insights to lead systematic understanding of influences and aspects in Value stream as well as support different levels of hierarchy in taking well-informed and strategic calls to support value stream goals.QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in engineering (Mech, EEE, ECE or IP)Post Graduate Master's in Business Administration / M.Tech (Desirable)Certification in Quality Management, Statistical tools,Operations management, Data Analytics, Agile
methodology (Desirable)Experience:Min 2 years of process planning activities in Auto component manufacturing industryKnowledge:
- Competent knowledge of the manufacturing process and MAE, assembly & testing techniques,
- Advanced knowledge in Statutory, Organization Regulations, Product liability, Compliance & Risk
- Competent in the use of AIAG Core tools - PFMEA,Control Plan, WI, Engineering change management
- Competent in Statistical evaluation tools & Problem Solving - Shainin, 8D
- Basic skill in operating key machines & test equipment
- Competent in lean manufacturing techniques (Bosch Production system) Standards - Basics, LBP,
- Advance skills in using myMeasure (Bosch internal tools)
