  • The role is for a Technical Project Manager with significant experience in delivery projects into large organisations with many stakeholders.
  • The successful candidates must therefore have strong social skills across different mediums and ability to communicate a vision based on developing technology.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong general technical background with hands on experience delivering IAM and infrastructure projects
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • FIDO2: Understanding of the FIDO2 (Fast Identity Online) standard, which includes WebAuthn (Web Authentication) and CTAP (Client to Authenticator Protocol), is crucial for implementing Passwordless authentication solutions.
  • WebAuthn: Expertise in WebAuthn for enabling Passwordless authentication on web browsers and web applications.
  • Knowledge of how PKI works in conjunction with Passwordless authentication, especially when using public/private key pairs for authentication.
  • Familiar with Passwordless authentication platforms/products i.e. WH4B, FIDO keys, Passkeys
  • OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect: Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols to integrate Passwordless authentication solutions with other identity management systems.
  • SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language): Understanding how to integrate Passwordless authentication with SSO systems using SAML.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Knowledge of how MFA works in conjunction with Passwordless methods to provide an additional layer of security.
  • Federated Identity Management: Knowledge of federated identity management and how Passwordless authentication can be integrated into different identity providers and domains.
Project Management Skills
  • Proactive attitude to delivery
  • Go getter and provides input into discussions to help drive things forward.
  • Able to adapt to technology well and is confident in discussion.
  • Presents well and can hold meaningful discussions and challenge where needed.
  • Support PoC/Pilot testing and planning for rollout for new corporate user Authentication patterns.
  • Work with Architecture on production infrastructure design.
  • Present at stakeholder forums to provide updates on the project deliverables and achievements.
  • Conduct reviews with service owners to complete/review technology assessments to determine suitable a approach.
  • Plan and support IAM Authentication implementation.
  • Has experience delivering new technical capabilities and transitioning to BAU.
Desirable Skills
  • Has implemented Passwordless authentication capability.
  • Previous experience of working in financial services, ideally HSBC experience
  • Has used JIRA/Confluence and can support our journey to use these tools better.
  • Experience of working with global teams
