Finance work at Kuehne+Nagel, means more than we imagine.‎The Area Controller acts as a finance business partner responsible for financial planning, controlling, and performance analysis, supporting business decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and insightful financial analysis.How you create impact

Act as a finance business partner and provide controlling support to the business, serving as a strong backup to the Sea Controller.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and realistic financial planning.
Deliver insightful financial analysis to support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Challenge business assumptions and drive data-based decision-making through strong analytical insights.
Collaborate with global and national stakeholders, influencing outcomes through financial expertise and effective communication.
Develop financial models and reports using advanced Excel to enhance performance visibility.
Monitor business performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide solution-oriented financial support to operational and commercial teams to drive continuous improvement.

What we would like you to bring

Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field; CA / CMA / CPA or MBA from reputable institutions preferred.
5–8 years’ experience in FP&A, financial controlling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical, financial modelling, and advanced Excel skills.
Proven ability to manage and influence global and senior stakeholders, with confidence to challenge business decisions using data.
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience supporting business reviews.
Solution-oriented, proactive, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
