KRA1 System Implementation: Supervise and monitor quality systems (ISO & WCM) in the section through involvement of people for improving Plant Performance as per Quality /Environmental Standards a) Monitor daily abnormality registration and corrective actions
b) Implement countermeasures recommended during inter departmental audits
c) Monitor implementation of safety and pollution control measures
d) Monitor checks for hoist / pressure vessels / Chain pulley block as per safety standard
e) Prevention and execution of Kaizen schemes
f) Develop One point lesson and impart training
g) Maintain statutory record of the observation
KRA2 Plant Availability : Supervise & Coordinate for smooth, trouble free operation of instruments for attending maximum equipment’s availability in Cement Mill & Packing Plant a) Analysis of stoppages report and organizing
b) Corrective preventive actions with timely monitoring
c) Coordinate maintenance jobs related to preventive shutdown & modification / upgradation
d) Supervise and report implementation progress and take corrective actions if any
KRA3 Cost Control & Optimization : Monitor and control the execution of maintenance jobs of the section as the budget allocated to keep the cost under control by effective utilization of resources a) Packer operation without weight variation
b) Preparation of budget & seeking approval
c) Monitor consumption of resources with respect to budget
d) Compare actual expenses against budget and take action to reduce variance
e) Carryout why-why analysis to prevent recurrence
f) Standardization of instruments in the section
g) Alternate material design change development and trials
KRA4 Calibration: Organize timely calibration of field instruments for measurement accuracy to reduce losses and improve to customer satisfaction a) Monitor and organizing calibration of instruments as per the schedule
b) Coordinate with stores for calibration certificates
c) Organize the baseline of instruments to know the test status
d) Timely calibration of packer spouts
KRA5 Plant Improvement / Modification : Study the existing systems and process requirements and Identify areas for improvement through planned reviews of performance, prepare improvement / modifications proposals and supervise its execution for continuous improvement in Productivity / Reliability of the equipment a) Analyze life value analysis of costly spares to enhance their life
b) Increase use of in house resources for fabrication
c) Carryout Pareto analysis for half yearly for the consumption of spares and make action plan to reduce the consumption
d) Identify areas for improvement through planned reviews of performance, prepare improvement / modification proposal and supervise its execution for continuous improvement in Productivity / Reliability of equipment
e) Analyze data and feasibility study by application of PM analysis
f) Preparation and approval of schemes for modification / changes
g) Process data flow measurement
h) Ensure implementation of Schemes
KRA6 Environment & Safety : Monitor & carryout all the activities required to maintain good housekeeping & safety standards of section a) Review the jobs / systems
b) Impart training to workmen and contractor
c) Identification & rectification of unsafe points / leakage point
d) Regular checking of level sensing instruments
e) Regular checking of tools & tackles
f) Carryout safety / environment audits
g) Regular checks of dust collector solenoids
h) Monitor working of pollution control equipment
