- Perform Basic Design, calculations & specification for Generator auxiliaries' systems
- Checking of final manufacturing drawings and BoM coming from Product definition or SuppliersJob DescriptionRole & ResponsibilitiesTo understand the specification of the project, product, customer requirement, Generator operating parameters and operating sequences of Hydro power plantDesign / Specification of Generator Instrumentation - for measuring temperature, pressure, flow, Cabling and Terminal boxes, Grounding system, Condition monitoring equipment like Partial discharge, Air gap monitoring, Vibration, Shaft current and Fire protection systemsPrepare P& IDs, technical specifications and drawings specifying design requirementsManage and execute work-packages with Product definition teamWorking with suppliers for defining, improving or cost out during design phaseSupport to Supply chain during execution phaseAccountabilitiesExecute with required Quality, within budget and lead times specifiedMeasurementOn time delivery, Quality, Cost (components, engg hours)QualificationsEducational Requirements: B. E. (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation)At least 3 years in design of Hydro Generator auxiliary systems. Total experience desired
