Job Title: Orthopedic OT Scrubber/ CSR/ OT Assistant Department: Orthopedic Surgery (Joints implants) Location: Vapi (Chala) Job Summary: Prepare and maintain the operating room for orthopedic surgical procedures. Scrub in and assist the surgical team during orthopedic surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment. Handle and pass surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons as needed. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough pre-operative checks of the operating room, ensuring cleanliness and availability of required equipment. Scrub hands and arms according to aseptic technique before entering the operating room. Set up sterile tables with surgical instruments and equipment based on the specific orthopedic procedure. Anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures, passing instruments and supplies promptly and accurately. Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery, taking appropriate actions to prevent contamination. Assist with the positioning and draping of patients for orthopedic surgeries. Dispose of surgical waste and sharps in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
