Principal Consultant- EPM

• Lead and oversee Anaplan implementation projects by translating business processes into technical requirements, designing solutions, preparing documentation, and guiding implementation.
• Manage security configurations, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure smooth deployments.
• Perform quality assurance on deliverables, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Anaplan, resolving complex issues, providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and supporting solution delivery.
• Manage and support multiple concurrent Anaplan implementations, balancing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and effort estimations; create detailed resource plans and schedules through sprint planning cycles.
• Collaborate with sales teams to build proof-of-concept (POC) models, demonstrating Anaplan's value to clients.
• Convert POC models into detailed blueprints, covering modules, lists, line items, and calculations.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, identifying project scope, setting priorities, and defining milestones.
• Partner with internal competency teams to translate business use cases into apps and planning accelerators.
• Lead client discussions confidently and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to internal capability building, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and enhancing technical expertise within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business (Master's preferred).
• Certified Anaplan professional; Master Anaplanner or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• 4+ years of proven experience delivering Anaplan solutions as a Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner.
• 6+ years of consulting experience in enterprise performance management (EPM) software such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Cognos TM1, SAP BPC, or Business Objects.
• Strong expertise in multi-dimensional modeling and scalable model building.
• Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.) with the ability to convert spreadsheets into optimized Anaplan models.
• Deep knowledge of data integration (inbound and outbound) with ERP and source systems.
• Experience architecting models across multiple planning domains (FP&A, sales, supply chain, workforce, etc.).
• Industry expertise in 2-3 verticals such as CPG, Retail, High-Tech, Aerospace & Defense, or Pharma is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Anaplan Agile methodology.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in preparing documentation and delivering Anaplan training sessions.
