With four IG-rated businesses, it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India.Job Purpose: As a Magazine Clerk reporting to the Blasting Officer, the primary aim is to assist in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to explosives handling and magazine maintenance within the mine. This involves ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies in the storage and handling of explosives. Key responsibilities include assisting in daily toolbox talks, maintaining accurate records of explosive inventory and magazine maintenance, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of explosives, and supporting the Blasting Officer in fostering a culture of safety and compliance among mine personnel.Responsibilities:Magazine Clerk - Coal MiningExplosives Handling and Magazine Maintenance:Assist in overseeing all activities related to the storage, handling, and transportation of explosives within the mine.Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, government regulations, and company policies in the storage and handling of explosives.Maintain accurate records of explosive inventory, including receipts, issues, and transfers, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Coordination and Communication:Coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of explosives and other necessary materials, ensuring uninterrupted operations.Communicate effectively with the Blasting Officer and other relevant stakeholders to convey any issues or concerns related to explosives handling and magazine maintenance.Assist in conducting daily toolbox talks to reinforce safety procedures and promote a culture of safety among mine personnel.Record-Keeping and Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of magazine maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and servicing, to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements.Prepare reports and documentation as required by regulatory authorities and company policies, providing accurate and up-to-date information on explosive inventory and magazine maintenance.Support and Assistance:Provide support to the Blasting Officer in implementing measures to enhance safety, productivity, and operational efficiency within the mine.Assist in fostering a culture of safety and compliance among mine personnel by promoting and reinforcing safety procedures and best practices.Collaborate with the Blasting Officer and other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Key Stakeholders - InternalKey Stakeholders - Internal:HODsEmployeesKey Stakeholders - ExternalDGMSForest DepartmentEnvironmentQualifications:Educational Qualification:Essential: B.Tech/B.E-Mining with Basic training in handling explosives; valid license for explosive handling as per DGMS guidelines.Work Experience (Range of years):12-20 years
