The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in cut & fill stopping, along with a valid Mine Foreman Certificate (Unrestricted). This role is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient execution of underground work as per the production plan.Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily underground operations including drilling, blasting, mucking, and support installation.- Ensure proper execution of cut & fill stopping activities in accordance with mining plans.- Monitor and manage manpower allocation, shift operations, and worksite discipline.- Enforce safety protocols and statutory compliance under DGMS and company standards.- Coordinate with survey, geology, and ventilation departments for smooth operations.- Conduct regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks with the mining crew.Skills & Competencies:- In-depth knowledge of underground mining practices, particularly cut & fill stopes.- Strong understanding of DGMS regulations and underground safety standards.- Ability to lead and manage a team of miners, operators, and support staff.- Practical knowledge of mining equipment used in underground gold mining.- Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
