We provide the infrastructure and services that enable developers to build next generation applications.Shape the future of the InternetAs Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll be key in defining Cloud/Linode solutions during presales. Guiding customers in strategic and technical Cloud transformation, you'll drive Linode service adoption and consumption. In addition, you'll also be the thought-leader in cloud computing both outside and within Akamai.As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Driving Linode opportunities in India as a public cloud presales engineer, supporting APJ, and leading technical sales.
Driving customer success and Linode adoption within the account team; cloud service delivery experience is beneficial.
Leading solution innovation, promoting local tech trends, and shaping the product roadmap with global managers.
Building technical thought leadership in Cloud Computing/Linode to drive Akamai's business growth.
Leading Pre-Sales SME enablement groups on Linode and public cloud technology stack.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

Have 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role with public cloud, consulting, hosting, or cloud software expertise.
Demonstrate excellent experience in architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers.
Possess two or more professional level certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
Demonstrate in-depth skills in atleast three of: Kubernetes, cloud networking, AI & GPU, IaC/CI/CD tooling, media streaming tech stack.
Demonstrate hands-on skills in common open source softwares to replace hyperscalers proprietary managed services.
Demonstrate skill of solving new technical and business problems, through active listening/clarifying, structured analytical and creative thinking.
Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences
