- The test engineer will be a part of an agile team automating test scenarios and conducting functional test on applications and products.Responsibilities include:
- Develop Test Automation code for UI and API tests, and monitor day-to-day test executions
- Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, review test cases.
- Perform functional testing in various test cycles functional, regression, sanity.
- Generate test data for defined test cases, recognize test environment preparation needs, and execute existing test plans and report results
- Update existing test plans and automated test scenarios to reflect new requirements
- Participate in project-level reviews, walkthroughs and inspections, and conduct test reviews, including test plans, requirements, cases and automation coverage
- Participate in requirements review, story elaborations and testing activities
- Work closely with developers to identify code defects or regressions
- Perform Exploratory testing as required
- Share experience and insight by suggesting process improvements
- Perform demos of new product functionality to stakeholdersSkills:
- Relevant work experience in test automation and functional testing of mission-critical applications.
- Knowledge of QA processes and testing methodologies.
- Ability to prepare test scenarios, document test scenarios, test plan, defect logging and test reports.
- Hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber, BDD, GitLab.
- Good knowledge and ability to work with Cucumber BDD, Gherkin, Maven, TestNG.
- Proficient in API testing, with experience using tools like Postman and Insomnia.
