Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
Formulate sourcing strategies for dry fruits, staples, and packaged food items.
Identify and onboard trustworthy suppliers, farmers, traders, and manufacturers.
Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and ensure consistent supply.
Foster strong vendor partnerships to facilitate business growth.Supply Chain & Warehousing
Design and oversee effective supply chain operations, including procurement,
warehousing, and distribution.
Manage inventory planning and stock control across various warehouses.
Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, warehousing, and logistics
operations.
Implement systems for inventory management, demand forecasting, and replenishment.Operations & Business Planning
Collaborate closely with leadership to support business growth initiatives.
Align procurement and supply chain strategies with sales growth and product demand.
Track operational costs and promote efficiency improvements.
Create scalable processes appropriate for a rapidly growing FMCG startup.Vendor & Contract Management
Assess supplier performance based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
Lead vendor negotiations, contracts, and long-term sourcing agreements.
Develop alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate supply risks.Process Development & Systems
Establish procurement and supply chain processes suitable for an expanding
organization.
Leverage ERP and procurement tools to monitor procurement, inventory, and vendor
management.
Build and nurture a procurement and operations team as the organization expands.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Cost optimization and procurement efficiency
Supplier reliability and quality consistency
Inventory turnover and stock availability
Supply chain efficiency and operational scalability
Development of the vendor networkExperience
7–12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
At least 4 years in procurement with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position within
FMCG, grocery, food distribution, or food manufacturing.
