The Business Sales Head will lead a 5-member sales team, work closely with internal cross-functional teams, and report directly to the Board.The selected candidate will work primarily from the Surat back office while overseeing field operations in the South Gujarat & Mumbai regions. The mining unit is located in Degam (Chikli District), and total employee strength, including contractual labor, is around 120.This position is best suited for a proactive, visionary leader ready to bring deep market insights, customer-centric strategies, and revenue-driving action plans.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Market Leadership
- Lead B2B Project Sales in the building materials/construction industry.
- Drive market share expansion in South Gujarat and Mumbai regions.
- Identify and exploit white space opportunities through strategic initiatives.
- Maintain and grow the Average Selling Price (ASP) across product lines.
- Ensure timely payment collections and strict credit control mechanisms.
- Provide financial forecasts, recovery plans, and budget inputs.
- Conduct deep-dive customer and competitor analysis.
- Offer strategic insights and operational inputs to board members.
- Execute data-driven sales campaigns with clearly defined KPIs.
- Inspire, develop, and hold accountable a 6-member sales team.
- Establish a culture of ownership, learning, and responsiveness.
- Track team performance using structured KPIs and dashboards.
- Leverage marketing tools and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
- Lead the team’s efforts in new business development through networking, partnerships, and referrals.
- Maintain structured reporting systems for pipeline, client health, and market intelligence.
- Build and utilize real-time sales MIS and dashboards to guide informed board-level decisions.
- Demonstrate clear plans and execution to grow ASP.
- Manage end-to-end payment collection cycles.
- Take ownership of team management and capability development.
- Deliver strategic insights, market intelligence, and execution plans.
- Conduct in-depth customer profiling and competitor benchmarking.
- Build strong lead pipelines through new business development.
- Exhibit strong marketing and branding acumen.
- Align all efforts to sales target achievement.
- Ensure data-driven, structured reporting to top management.
- B.E. Civil / BBA / MBA / M.Tech or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years in B2B commercial sales, preferably in Aggregates, Cement, RMC, or Infrastructure sectors.
