- Acting as the key client contact throughout the client onboarding process to ensure seamless transition from Sales to BAU;
- Act as a first point of contact for UK and US clients relating to onboarding matters.
- Coordinating client adoptions, account openings, review of fund offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning.
- Project management and coordination of internal functions to onboard new clients (launches and conversions) including Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Fund Integration and Technology teams.
- As part of the onboarding process, the candidate will be expected to provide regular/weekly status updates to new clients and internal parties. Weekly project calls should be held with stakeholders and project plans should be maintained to track the progress.
- Assist in the initial drafting and review of client master/service agreements.
- Interacting with the Legal Department on template management and control.
- Managing the internal review process across different product and service lines within the fund administration, depository and other product lines.
- Provide day-to-day client onboarding advice across all Apex Group business lines to best meet their business needs and maintain good working relationships through active communication, facilitation and teamwork.
- Develop processes, procedures, and checklists for the wider team, ensure that there is a good governance model in place across the team.
- Continuing to evolve the process, look for efficiencies and expand the remit of the team
- Strong project management skills and the ability to proactively manage multiple/changing priorities and deadlines.
- Support the wider onboarding team and sub processes where required.
- An individual with a bachelor/master’s degree qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience within the investment funds industry.
- A good knowledge of the funds industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage, Project management skills.
- Be comfortable/competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal terminology, and fund services agreements.
- Knowledge of Client KYC and Legal contract management is an advantage.
- Be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic business.
- Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client relationships.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing mindset.
- Professional level of English (spoken and written), every other language is an advantage.
