This role involves assisting in the preparation of detailed mine designs, scheduling, and budgeting for open cast mining projects.   • Responsible for preparing comprehensive mine plans that optimize resource extraction for coal and metal mining projects.
  • Responsible for development of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for open-cast mining blocks, ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with project goals.
  • Responsible for preparation of techno-economic feasibility studies required by financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in the preparation of Progressive and Final Mine Closure Plans for coal and metal mining blocks.
Operational Planning and Scheduling
  • Responsible for in developing optimized pit shells based on cost and revenue parameters to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for preparation of final pit layouts and mine development sequences for long-term planning.
  • Responsible for preparation of short and mid-term operational plans for active and upcoming mining projects.
  • Collaborate for creation of annual and quarterly operational plans, ensuring they are feasible and aligned with available land and operational constraints.
Equipment Planning and Utilization
  • Responsible for the selection of appropriate mining equipment, considering project requirements and site-specific conditions.
  • Responsible for planning and scheduling of mining equipment usage to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency in operations.
  • Responsible for assessment of manpower requirements for mining operations, including statutory manpower needs.
Cost Estimation and Financial Collaboration
  • Responsible for the estimation of project capital expenditure (Capex) and operating expenditure (Opex).
  • Responsible for optimization of project Capex and Opex to maximize revenue and enhance returns.
  • Collaborate with departments such as ERC, PRMC, Environment, Finance, TCD, IT, and Technology for the preparation of financial models.
Technical Support and Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Provide technical support to internal departments, including ERC, PRMC, Environment, Finance, and TCD.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the Business Development team to provide techno-economic inputs for coal and metal block bidding.
  • Ensure the accurate execution of mining plans and adherence to best practices at site.
  • Engage with external consultants and technical teams to aid in the implementation of digital technology initiatives.
Qualifications:Qualification & Experience
  • B.E. / B. Tech Mining
  • Work Experience: 10+ years
