- To conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand supply and demand dynamics, weather, trade flows, and price drivers in agricultural commodities - to translate these insights into forecasts/levers for taking decisions related to trading, procurement, risk management, this role helps the organization to navigate through constant changes in the market dynamics.
- Maintain and strengthen the existing farmer network while expanding it as per crop-specific requirements.
- Conduct primary field surveys for Black Matpe (Urad), Cotton, Pigeonpea (Tur/Arhar), and Maize during the ongoing Kharif season.
- Conduct field surveys for Chickpeas (Desi/Kabuli) during the Rabi season.
- Execute all mandatory surveys across these crops, including Post-Planting, Crop Health Monitoring, and Yield Assessment surveys. Additional surveys such as Wilting and Farmer Stock surveys may also be required, depending on trade desk needs.
- Manage crop data, farmer databases, and weather-related information for the assigned regions.
- Prepare and share region-specific reports with the trade desk.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with farmers to track crop progress and promptly report any critical developments that could significantly impact crop outcomes.
- Improve Bunge's outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront of all they do, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy.

- Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work, even in times of challenge or change.
- MSc in Agriculture.
