About the Organization:Swaniti Initiative is a fourteen-year-old social enterprise that is working at the intersection of climate, governance and last mile delivery. We believe that while the willingness and resources exist, there are fundamental gaps in the execution within communities that is the biggest crisis in the climate movement. Swaniti works with subnational governments to conduct microplanning exercises in consultation with communities and key stakeholders, provides technical assistance to subnational governments toward implementation and supports in monitoring and delivery of programs. A significant focus of our work within climate and governance is on preparing the private sector and communities for energy transition.About the Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled ITI Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, practical skills in electronics, and the ability to support installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment.Job Responsibilities:
Handle silicon wafers during the photovoltaic cell manufacturing process, including cutting, cleaning, and quality inspection.
Operate and monitor automated machines on the production line.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and clean-room standards.
Maintain accurate process logs, production reports, and quality check records.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate with engineers for preventive maintenance.
Meet daily production and quality targets while maintaining efficiency and minimal wastage.
RequirementsQualifications Required:
Education: ITI certification in Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation.
Understanding of electronic equipment and automated production lines.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a clean-room environment.
Good observational skills and attention to detail for quality control.
Basic knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and maintenance support.
