- Server Infrastructure oversight – Own the architecture, performance, security and lifecycle management of Windows and Linus server infrastructure across on-premise, AWS and OCI environments
- Security and compliance – Implement and maintain server security best practices, patches, hardening, Vulnerability assessment and compliance
- Monitoring and Optimization – Ensure robust server monitoring and performance tuning practices are in place. Identify areas for cost and performance improvement across environments
- Incident and Problem Management – Act as escalation point for server related incidents. Drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes in coordination with vendors
- Vendor Management - Collaborate closely with third party service providers responsible for day to day server management. Ensure SLAs are met and service is delivered with desired quality
- Technology Leadership – Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and recommend enhancements like modernization, automation
- Documentation– Maintain clear documentation of server environments, configurations and vendor SOPs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Btech, BCA, BSc, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10-20 years of experience in managing Windows and Linux Server Infrastructure in Enterprise Environment.
- Strong understanding of both on-premise and cloud based server operations.
- Strong experience with server hardening, patch management and security baseline
- Demonstrated experience managing third party vendors,, including managed service providers
- Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation Tools
- Working knowledge of backup/recover, monitoring tools and disaster recovery planning
- Exposure to ITIL Framework or working in an ITIL based environment
- Experience in hybrid infrastructure transformation or cloud migration projects
- Ownership and Accountability – Takes full responsibility for server infrastructure performance and vendor deliverables. Acts with sense of urgency and drives outcomes
