We are seeking an experienced Server Infrastructure Lead to oversee our Windows and Linux Server environments across on-premise data center, AWS and OCI cloud environments. This role will serve as the central point for all matters related to server infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence and security compliance.Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Server Infrastructure oversight – Own the architecture, performance, security and lifecycle management of Windows and Linus server infrastructure across on-premise, AWS and OCI environments
  • Security and compliance – Implement and maintain server security best practices, patches, hardening, Vulnerability assessment and compliance
  • Monitoring and Optimization – Ensure robust server monitoring and performance tuning practices are in place. Identify areas for cost and performance improvement across environments
  • Incident and Problem Management – Act as escalation point for server related incidents. Drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes in coordination with vendors
  • Vendor Management - Collaborate closely with third party service providers responsible for day to day server management. Ensure SLAs are met and service is delivered with desired quality
  • Technology Leadership – Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and recommend enhancements like modernization, automation
  • Documentation– Maintain clear documentation of server environments, configurations and vendor SOPs.
Key Requirements –Education & Certificates:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Btech, BCA, BSc, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience
  • 10-20 years of experience in managing Windows and Linux Server Infrastructure in Enterprise Environment.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of both on-premise and cloud based server operations.
  • Strong experience with server hardening, patch management and security baseline
  • Demonstrated experience managing third party vendors,, including managed service providers
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation Tools
  • Working knowledge of backup/recover, monitoring tools and disaster recovery planning
Nice to have
  • Exposure to ITIL Framework or working in an ITIL based environment
  • Experience in hybrid infrastructure transformation or cloud migration projects
