Job RequirementsRole/ Job Title: Security Engineer - NIPSFunction/ Department: Information Technology.Job Purpose:We are seeking a skilled Netskope Proxy Profile Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing the Netskope proxy solutions to ensure secure internet traffic for users across the organization. You will be tasked with ensuring proper integration, monitoring traffic, analyzing security logs, and ensuring the organization's cloud security posture is optimized.Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage Netskope Proxy Profiles and related security policies.
  • Implement and optimize cloud security strategies through the use of Netskope’s Cloud Security platform, including data loss prevention (DLP), threat protection, and user behavior analytics.
  • Monitor and manage traffic via Netskope’s secure web gateway (SWG), ensuring that internet traffic is filtered and secure.
  • Define security policies related to cloud applications, web traffic, and user access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, IT security, cloud, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of Netskope with existing security infrastructure.
  • Perform regular audits and reviews of proxy configurations to ensure they are aligned with the organization’s security and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze logs and reports for security incidents, identifying potential threats or policy violations.
  • Provide training and support to other teams on proper use of the Netskope platform and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Netskope Proxy service and its integration with other network security services.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends in cloud security and proxy solutions to recommend enhancements to the organization’s security posture.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven experience with Netskope Cloud Security platform or similar cloud-based security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of secure web gateway (SWG) technologies and proxy architecture.
  • Experience in managing Netskope Proxy Profiles, configuring traffic steering, and applying security policies.
  • Familiarity with data loss prevention (DLP) policies, content filtering, and network traffic inspection.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network and security issues in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams across various functions.
  • Certifications in network security (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with other security tools such as Zscaler, Forcepoint, or similar SWG solutions.
  • Experience in cloud migration projects and securing cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, or other network optimization technologies.
Education Qualification:Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) /Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)Experience: 8–10 years of experience in NIPS
