Work in shifts 13 x 5 + Out of Office Hour support, typically rotating Bi- weekly
System administration of RHEL/SLES operating systems.
Resolving and providing solutions to incidents.
Performing OS patching activities and Updating firmware on different server hardware.
Troubleshooting, fixing the problems with quality and document the solutions as KEDB.
Collaborate with different teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
Identify recurring tasks which require automation and automate them.
Balance multiple competing priorities and complete tasks on time.
Work closely with the customer to identify the problems and resolve them efficiently.
Administration of Apache, BIND, Postfix, Sendmail, LDAP, NFS services.
Performing changes adhering to Change Management processes.
Work with Datacenter support team for hardware maintenance.
Work with vendor for outstanding issues.
Work on problem tickets

Skills Required:

ITIL Framework & concepts
Good verbal and written Communication
RHCE Certified
Installation, configuration, security aspects, monitoring, reporting and
administration of RHEL 5.x, 6.x & 7.x, SLES 11 SPx & 12 SPx Operating Systems.
Installation, configuration and administration of Sendmail, postfix & apacheweb services.
Good knowledge about networking, security, Internet mail, DNS, Domain Name
registration and management procedures, Implementation of SSL/TLS & proxy servers.
Experience in package installations and OS patching activities.
Experience in firmware upgrade on server hardware.
Should have good troubleshooting skills.
Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Experience with OS hardening.
Should have basic scripting knowledge
Should be aware of incident and change management process.
Willingness to follow the process and create quality documentations is a must.
Testing / Validation of all Servers.
Knowledge in usage of any Ticketing tool

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum qualification B. E / B.Tech / Graduate / 10+2+3 Year Diploma
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Red Hat Linux Environment
