ACCOUNTANT FOR STEEL TRADERS - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Daily Accounting: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, including sales, purchases, bank books, and cashbooks.
• Invoicing & Documentation: Handle billing, invoicing, and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
• Tax Compliance: Manage GST registration, filings, and TDS deductions specifically regarding steel, scrap, and industrial products.
• Accounts Receivable/Payable: Track payments, manage debtor/creditor reconciliations, and manage vendor/customer records.
• Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory records with physical stock.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience, preferably within a construction material or steel trading environment.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, Busy, or similar ERP accounting software.
• Tax Knowledge: Understanding of GST rates, e-way bills, and TDS.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or CA Inter.
• Analytical Skills: Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Accurate tracking of high-volume transactions.
• Proper documentation for scrap trading and structural steel, pipes, and HR sheets.
• Frequent reconciliation of freight expenses and customer balances.
