Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Role OverviewThe Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development and sales across the EMS segment, covering a portfolio of products and solutions including test systems, automation, and manufacturing software. The role involves managing key customer relationships, expanding market reach, and ensuring alignment of product offerings with customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales for the complete portfolio within the EMS segment, including:
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Line automation and robotics solutions
- Soldering and rework systems
- Manufacturing software (MES, traceability solutions)
- Develop and execute sales strategies for national-level coverage across India
- Manage and grow relationships with EMS customers, OEMs, and manufacturing units
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the existing product portfolio within accounts
- Coordinate with internal teams and existing channel partners for effective market penetration
- Build and lead a sales team to support regional and national sales activities
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline development, and conversion metrics
- Conduct regular customer visits and manage long-term account development
- Provide market feedback to support product positioning and roadmap decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- 4-7 years of experience in B2B sales within EMS / electronics manufacturing domain
- Proven track record in handling complex solution sales across India
- Experience managing large accounts and multi-product sales portfolios
- Exposure to industrial automation, testing solutions, or manufacturing software is preferred
- Ability to operate independently and manage geographically distributed customers
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
- B2B technical sales in electronics / manufacturing domain
- Experience selling ATE / test systems / automation solutions
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments (SMT / PCB / assembly lines)
- National-level (Pan India) sales exposure
- Key account management and enterprise customer handling
- Experience in solution-based / consultative selling
- Team handling / sales team building experience
