About Company:Our client is a leading company in the seeds industry specializing in the development and sale of high-quality seeds for a wide range of crops including vegetables, fruits, and flowers. They primarily focus on developing and selling high-quality seeds for various crops such as cereals, vegetables, fruits, and oilseeds. They have a team of experienced agronomists and scientists who work towards creating hybrid and genetically modified varieties to improve crop yields and resistance to diseases.An Ideal Candidate:An ideal candidate should have a B.sc /M.sc in Agronomy/Horticulture with 8-12 years experience in the seed industry with knowledge in the vegetable fist and should be willing to travel extensively in his region, The candidate preferably if he is from an Agriculture background.Key Competencies:1. Sales: Achieving sales targets for the zone by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring effective distribution of seeds, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
2. Market Development: Identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, conducting market research and analysis, and launching new products in the market to expand the company's market share.
3. Team Management: Recruiting, training, and managing a high-performing sales team, providing continuous guidance and support, and ensuring proper motivation and development of team members.
4. Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing the annual budget for the zone, monitoring and controlling expenses, and ensuring financial targets are met while maximizing profitability.
5. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, addressing customer complaints and grievances.
6. Distribution Management: Ensuring effective distribution network and channel management, implementing distribution strategies.
