The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Golang, combined with deep expertise in building and scaling complex systems in high-growth environments.This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on technical knowledge. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering teams, shaping technology strategy, and ensuring the robustness and security of our platforms. Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or high-frequency trading systems will be highly advantageous.Key Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the organization’s technology vision and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Management & Development
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide continuous feedback, and support professional development.
- Ensure engineering best practices, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices are followed across teams.
- Product & Platform Development
- Drive the development of applications using JavaScript, Python, and Golang, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Oversee the design and scaling of microservices-based architectures, real-time data processing systems, and API-driven integrations.
- Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.
- Infrastructure & Security
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices, including wallet security, encryption, identity management, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead efforts to ensure resilience, disaster recovery, and regulatory adherence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leadership to align technology strategy with organizational objectives.
- Partner with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders to deliver safe and efficient technology-driven solutions.
- Represent the technology team in board-level discussions, investor meetings, and client interactions.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Director of Technology).
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Python, and Golang for developing scalable systems.
- Proven success in startup or high-growth environments, preferably within fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, wallet security, encryption, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
