
SAP ABAP Consultant (100% Remote)

- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Generate ABAP Web Dynpro Models (RFC, Web Services), including Internal/External Context Mapping, Eventing, Navigation, Adaptive RFC, Custom Components, Interfaces, Usage, Net Weaver Development Interface (NWDI Tracks, SCs, DCs), and optionally Floor Plan Manager (FPM).
- Design and develop EDI standards and EDI/IDOC data mapping.
- Utilize BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW & write user exits.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to Gateway OData.
- Develop WRICEF components and interfaces for third party applications.
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed solutions.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance improvements.
- Document technical specifications and design documents as needed.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Plan and supervise the work of assigned teams engaged in ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging for various SAP modules.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Actual hands-on experience in at least 3 end-end implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of the ABAP programming language and development tools (ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary) including technical documentation.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (ABAP Objects) & OData is essential.
- Familiarity with development/programming interfaces of SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, QM or FI; experience with S/4HANA is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in data migration and conversion projects using techniques like LSMW is advantageous.
- Experience with SAP ABAP Workflow and SAP HANA is desirable
