Assistant Transport ManagerIntegrated Facilities ManagementWhat this job involves:Promoting our services and developing our businessOperations Management Provide local insight and participate in strategic decisions related to transport services. Participate in vendor meetings and vendor management. Manage delivery of transport services at the client site which will include data collection, routing, fleet allocation, movement tracking, customer query / issue resolution, compliance checks and emergency support. Operational supervision to meet SLAs and expected quality / safety standards. Formulating guidelines, operating procedures and internal controls. Ongoing communication with customers. Regular updates / presentations to site leaders. Identifying areas for continuous improvement.Relationship Management Assist leadership in managing relationships with key customers. Ensure effective coordination with functional leads from both GSH and client which willinclude HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Sourcing, and Security services. Participate and provide updates in operational review meetings.General Standardization - Adapt and standardize processes consistent with other sites. Financial Management – expensetracking, variance reporting & accruals and ensure that all reporting is accurate andtimely. Compliance – Regular review of managed services to ensure compliance with client /policies, statutory regulations, health & safety standards and local guidelines /processes as applicable to both in-house and outsourced staff. Reporting – Ensure timely and accurate updation of key metrics and reports. These willinclude KPIs, operational metrics such as on-time arrivals, cost, vendor performance,incident reports, occupancy levels etc. Contingency Planning – Work with team to ensure backup planning for critical services. Vendor Management – Ensure strong engagement with client vendors / serviceproviders, timely issue resolution, accurate & timely payments.Sound like you? To apply you need to be:Education and experienceA Bachelor’s degree in any stream, and you’ll need between 5 to 7 years’ experience in Transport Operations.A relationship builderAs well as a keen desire for success in Transport, you’ll have the ability to handle end to end Transport Operations with business owners, senior executives, and high-level corporate decision makers.
