Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the procurement of packaging materials in alignment with production requirements across all plant locations.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in procuring a wide range of packaging materials such as shrink sleeves, shrink wraps, corrugated boxes, caps, closures, PET, and trays.Location: MumbaiYour Future Employer: A pioneer in the Indian beverage industry, has been creating innovative products and iconic brands.One of the fastest-growing beverage company, that continues to aggressively adopt new strategies and innovative initiatives.Responsibilities:

Work out Procurement Plan based on the sales forecast & BOM
Review of raw material status on a weekly basis from all the plants and alert plants on any variations in stocks
Exploring saving potentials, through various options, to move in market place to find the best prices, especially for commodities viz. Sugar, Fruit Pulp, Juices etc
Develop Packaging material by co-ordinating with Corrugation Box, Tray, Sleeve, Closure manufacturers etc as per marketing needs
Consolidating tender prices on regular basis and have tab on tender release dates
Prepare Purchase orders, inform accounts for execution of RTGS and other formalities where applicable.
Ensuring the integrity of the packaging material and updating changes in technical specifications if any
Quarterly review of the rates for key Packaging material
Meeting vendors and developing new and better vendors while retaining the existing vendors.
Final negotiations with all vendors to work out the best possible rates.
Streamlining SAP processes and ensuring its smooth functioning
Ensuring minimum variance of packaging material at all the locations
Centralized negotiation of rates for Chemicals, Plant Consumables & to conduct reverse auction of scraps for plants etc.

Requirement:

Diploma/Degree-B.E/B.tech
10 + Yrs of relevant exp.
