The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. Purpose of Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible to develop the distribution network of the firm i.e. form new partnerships with Wealth Managers, IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors), and Distributors for the firm's PMS (Portfolio Management Services) product. Responsibilities: 1. Taking an initiative in reaching out independently to IFAs, Wealth Managers, and Distributors to explain the PMS product and generate leads/interest in the PMS 2. Converting these leads that he/she generates into partnerships with the firm (with the help of senior management) 3. Drive new client acquisition through the partnerships created with IFAs, Wealth Managers, and Distributors 4. Maintain and manage relationships with Distributors, IFAs and Wealth Managers Requirement: 3-5 years of total experience with relevant experience in sales/marketing of PMS/AIF products to IFAs/Wealth Managers/Distributors - Graduate/Postgraduate qualifications from reputed institute - Strong work ethic and high integrity - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work with a small entrepreneurial team - Willingness to travel
