- Develop and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models to determine machining requirements.
- Solid Works 3D Modelling.
- Design and developing Fixture machining.
- Select and set up appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for efficient production.
- Conduct test runs and first-article inspections to validate CNC programs and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot programming issues, machine errors, and tooling challenges.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Production teams to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Maintain documentation related to CNC programming, tooling setups, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards (ISO, AS9100, etc.).
- Train and mentor machine operators on CNC program execution and machine operations.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Experience: 5-6 years of experience in CNC programming and manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in Solid works CAM and modelling software
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operation.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines, lathes, and Horizontal and vertical milling centers.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and precision measurement tools.
- Understanding of materials (metals, composites, plastics) and their machining characteristics.
- Hands-on experience with tool selection, cutting parameters, and process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight tolerances and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing setting.
