The ideal candidate should have a strong background in indirect tax solutioning, Vertex-Oracle integration, and hands-on experience in at least two end-to-end implementation projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure Vertex for US and Canada tax requirements, including tax regimes, rates, and tax rules.
  • Integrate Vertex with Oracle Fusion Cloud for accurate tax computation across modules.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion Tax, including tax rules, tax regimes, and tax flow setups.
  • Deliver tax solutioning using Vertex for indirect tax compliance in US and Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
  • Support testing, issue resolution, and documentation of tax scenarios and configurations.
Ideal ProfileRequired Experience:
  • Minimum 8+ years of overall experience in ERP tax domain.
  • At least 2 end-to-end Vertex implementation projects:
  • One must be with Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Second can be with either Oracle EBS or another Cloud platform
  • Strong knowledge of Vertex O Series, Oracle Fusion Tax, and tax compliance for North America.
  • Hands-on experience with Vertex tax regime-to-rate flows, mapping, and tax rule configurations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Functional knowledge of indirect tax processes in ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
