- MSc/MTech/ in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Sales at Life sciences/Biotech product manufacturing companies
- Experience in Pharma/Biopharma sales of equipment and consumables
- Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals of equipment and consumables in the designated accounts and /or territories.
- Creates, maintains and manages funnel
- Identify Opportunities & business risks and create plans to seize those opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Handles key account issues from all perspectives of sales, application and service support.
- Works effectively in a team environment and influences peers and others to deliver on customer requirements.
- Should increase market share from existing and potential new customers through implementation of best- in- class sales management practices.
- Track and monitor competitor activities and devise appropriate to deal with the same.
- Technically support the customer with their workflow requirements and suggest the right solution.
- Follows regular cadence of processes as applicable and maintain rigor in reporting.
- Captures VOC and identifies local market trends and communicates internally.
- Maintain and manage distributor/Channel Partner relationships as needed.
- Ability to navigate and handle complex negotiations.
- Strong emphasis on meeting forecast accuracy month on month and high level of commitment towards closing forecasted opportunities.
- Maintain and display utmost transparency, integrity as part of best business practices for the interest of individual & the organization.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through management of relationships and sales support.
- Build relationships and develop loyalty with senior customers and decision makers.
- Should identify new customers, understand their requirements and position our products accordingly.
- Sound technical knowledge on customer processes, Biopharma/CRO workflows and willingness to learn and apply subject knowledge to support customers.
- Ability to present complex topics to key customers and understanding workflows of Biopharma/Pharma/CRO Customers
- Work cohesively with different cross functions (Service, Sales Operations, Application, Finance, Logistics) to ensure seamless customer experience and improve satisfaction.
