Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Security Operations
In this role, the Project Coordinator / Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing security operations projects and organizing penetration testing activities. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and address any issues.
- Provide training and support to team members on security operations processes.
- Oversee the planning and execution of penetration testing activities.
- Gather and analyse business requirements related to security operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for the development team.
- Lead and manage security operations projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in security operations and penetration testing planning.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficient in business analysis techniques and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in security operations or penetration testing (like CISSP, CEH).
- Experience with security tools and technologies (such as SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (such as GDPR, HIPAA).
