Senior Design Engineer- Mechanical

• Candidate will be required to work as a Sr. Design Engineer / Associate Team Lead within the Project Delivery Team
• The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Electrical Designing, Detailing and Installation/Commissioning of Equipment/SPM/Production Line for the Manufacturing Segment
• Field Verifications, Installation, and Commissioning at Site
• Leading multiple project tasks independently or along with a team to execute the complete project
• Developing scopes of work, assumptions, clarifications, and man-hour estimates in response to Requests for Proposals
• Assuring Technical Accuracy and Quality of all the work performed in the Electrical Practice
• Developing Design Standards
• Reviewing Calculation Methods to assure that they comply with the regulatory and project related requirements
• Preparing, reviewing, and / or interpreting Drawings, Specifications, and Customer Submittals
• Responding to the client's questions and comments; and monitoring and resolving Client's issues
• Performing Field Verifications and Evaluations of existing Components / Systems relative to Condition / Upgrade Capacity and Drawing Compliance
• Developing detailed project plans to track progress effectively
• Performing Risk Management activities to minimize project related risks
• Working on Project Documentations with strict adherence to Quality and ISO Processes
• Ensuring error free design output related to various deliverables
• Checking team members work / drawings before delivering the same to the client, if needed
• Following instructions as prescribed by the Project Lead
• Working with different discipline / stakeholders of a project, for getting exact information required to execute various tasks
• Providing information / project status reports to the Project Lead
• Producing necessary Design Reports and Documentation, Project Status Report
• Preparing meeting MOMs and publishing the same to all the required stakeholders
• Developing new area of Expertise within the team for new area of opportunities

• Candidate should have prior experience of:

• Working as a Design Engineer / Lead Engineer in the Manufacturing / Converting Service Industry segment
• Working in the Paper / Personal Hygiene Industry (candidate with this experience will be preferred)
• Design and Detailing of SPM and Production Line Equipment (hands-on experience is essential)
• Working on Machine Design Projects of various Systems involved in a Production Line
• Conventional and Modern Manufacturing best practices
• Designing Vacuum Conveyor and Vacuum Conveying Systems, Rotary Equipments and Line Simulation
• Integrating Machines with various Plant Utilities
• Working with DIN, ANSI and ISO Standards (desirable)
• Working on 3D Software such SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Inventor, UG-NX and Pro-E
• Working on AutoCAD Software and MS Office Products (hands-on experience is essential)
• On-site Installation and Commissioning (should have performed at least one site commissioning, independently)
• Working with International Clients on various International Projects
• Setting-up Projects (WBS, Standards, Guidelines, Checklist, etc.)
• Working in a Multi-disciplinary Projects Environment with tools such as MS Projects
• Working on all the necessary Design Reports and Documentation, Project Status Reports and MOMs for further publishing
• Work Planning through Work Breakdown Structure
• Complete Project Life Cycle starting from Request (RFQ) from the client to Commissioning of the Project
• Designing Packaging Equipment (primary, secondary and tertiary) Interface with the main Machine
• Working on Productivity Improvement / Performance Upgrade Projects
• Working extensively on Pick and Place Systems
• Pneumatic and Hydraulic Circuit Designing and Sizing of Components
• Designing the Architecture of Servo Motor Axes along with their Sizing and Selection
• Candidate with a prior Project Management experience will be preferred
• Candidate should have knowledge related to all the plant level requirements including Power Utility, HVAC, Housekeeping, Machine Waste Management and Waste Water Treatment
• He / she should have sound knowledge of Unwind and Rewinds along with their detailed operation
• He / she should be innovative, with an out of box thinking for implementing new ideas
• He / she should be team player, and should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate should flexible to work with different Projects / Teams / Software, etc.
